
Taisho Sanke
Same basic color as Kohaku except for added lack color. Black should be the least obvious color with none on the head. Recommended red on the head, but not the eyes, tail, or fins much like Kohaku. (Taisho means tri-color)

Aka Sanke
A Taisho Sanke whose black is found spread unevenly on the body when viewed from top. Fins do have black markings with no black on the belly.

Ai Goromo
A Kohaku most of the red overlayed with black scalation giving the fish reticulated pattern.

Koromo Sanke
A tri-color fish derived from Taisho Sanke and Ai-Goromo.

Tancho Sanke
An isolated round red marking on the head with sumi (black) markings on the body.

Doitsu Sanke (Sanke Shusui)
Dark markings on the dorsal edges, typically blue coloring.

Yamato Nishiki (Hikarimoyomono strain)
Crossing between Taisho Sanke and Silver Ogon. A Taisho Sanke with metallic sheen on the scales.
